Privacy
Omikuji Labo uses only the information needed to provide the paper fortune and journey experience, without asking for personal details.
Online stamp orders
The cart keeps only product IDs, quantities and your language. During payment, Stripe collects your email and the recipient's name and delivery address. The operator uses order information to confirm purchases, arrange delivery and answer enquiries. When email notifications are enabled, Resend processes the email address, order reference, amounts, tracking details and private order link needed to send them. The operator keeps acceptance and failure records. Names, addresses and card details are not shared with the email service. The app does not store card numbers. Check sales and shipping terms for fees, destinations, returns and seller contact details before purchasing. Keep your order link private. Retention details are provided in the seller's published policy.

The application database records the QR identifier, product, public spot and stand categories, display language, and scan time. A random session ID that is not linked to personal information is used to avoid counting reloads in the same tab twice.
Information not stored in the application database
When you open a public QR, the application database does not store your name, email address, telephone number, precise location, referrer URL, or browser User-Agent. IP addresses are not used to create a visitor profile or travel history.
Fortune Journal
Saved fortunes remain only in this browser. They are not sent to an account or to the operator. You can remove them from the journal, but they cannot be restored after browser data is cleared.
Public spot map
The map shows only information approved for publication by each venue, such as its name, description, public address, coordinates, and opening hours. Private contact names, telephone numbers, and internal notes are not shown. Your current location is neither requested nor displayed.
Three Fortune Journey
Journey seals use the unique QR inside the purchased paper and a random participant token kept in this browser. No account is required. Each paper QR can grant its seal only once, and progress must be continued in the same browser.
Experience metrics and retention
Usage counts for the spot map, directions, journal saves, keepsake images, and journey seals are used only to improve the service and report overall activity to participating venues. We do not build personal profiles. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or reduced to aggregate information that is not tied to an individual QR.
Service providers and connection data
Hosting, data infrastructure, map tiles, and linked websites may technically process an IP address to deliver their services. This is different from storing it as visitor information in the application database. Once you open an external site, that provider's policy applies.
